I had my first serious encounter with aviation in 2005, taking parachute and glider training at the Turkish Aeronautical Association. Since then, the excitement I've felt in the cockpit has never diminished.

I took my professional step into the skies as a flight attendant for Turkish Airlines in 2011. My desire to be involved not only in the passenger side of flights but also in the technical and operational aspects grew with each passing day.

Between 2016 and 2019, I completed my PPL, CPL/IR, and ATPL licenses in Hungary and Poland, earning an EASA ATPL. Immediately after this, I participated in the recruitment of unlicensed pilots for Turkish Airlines, Pegasus, and SunExpress in Türkiye. However, the Boeing MAX crisis and the pandemic brought recruitment across the entire aviation sector to a standstill.

The opportunity arose again in 2023. I successfully completed Pegasus Airlines' pilot recruitment process, left Turkish Airlines, received my Airbus A320 type training, and began my airline pilot career.

In 2024, I participated in the interview processes for AJET, BBN, Freebird, and Southwind Airlines as an A320 type rating. That same year, I worked as a simulator and interview assessment consultant in Istanbul to stay in the industry and mentor young pilot candidates. Here, I shared my experience with candidates both in the cockpit and at the interview table.

In 2025, I completed my Gulfstream IV type training and started working as a First Officer on Gulfstream IV business jets.

Today, I've founded Ekipodasi.com to share the experience I've gained over these years. My goal is to provide insights distilled from real-world experience to anyone passionate about aviation and to guide them on their career journeys.
